It is equipped with a nice great room for entertaining, with painted plank wood floors and lots of light from many windows. The large-screen television is even included! The brand new kitchen offers a pristine spot to prepare from, with solid surface counters, new cabinets, stainless appliances, including a two-burner induction cooktop and a convection/microwave combination oven. The bedroom, with its aromatic cedar ceiling, has lots of windows for extra lighting. The new bathroom has a nicely tiled shower with upgraded shower fixtures, and the washer/dryer combination unit has shelving and hanging spots for clothing alongside. Ready to relax with a beverage? Sit under the trees on the nice wood deck off the side breezeway entrance, or sit on the enclosed front porch, which is currently used as a sleeping porch for a guest. Located in the old families area of the island called "Kiss-Me-Quick," this home is a short walk or a quick bike ride to the downtown, with gift shops, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Zip in to the library or to the community garden. Stop by the local bakery for a treat, or have an ice cream cone, and enjoy it on a public bench. Relax in the City Park, watching the dolphins and sea birds at play. Soak up the relaxed pace of an "Old Florida" island atmosphere, preserved and protected here on this treasured island.
